A silly, fluffy story of a love triangle between three guys in the tennis club. Papa, the protesting uke is homophobic and independent, and thinks that Miki and Kurokawa are lovers. However, Kurokawa's feelings are actually directed towards him, though Kurokawa thinks that Papa and Miki have something going, but Papa may like Kurokawa after all. What is Miki thinking? Who's got the story right? Who knows!
I really like this one; it's sweet and full of sight gags, most of all Papa's reactions when he catches longtime friends Miki and Kurokawa in innocent yet compromising positions. Kurokawa is very open about his affection for Papa but who knows what the cool and quiet Miki is ever thinking really.
What I like most is Monchi's art style. It's simple and a little messy, but the characters' interactions are very intimate and close (tender touching of faces, hands, bedroom eyes). Also, Monchi has written some shota as well, and tends to make her ukes much smaller than their semes, even though the age difference may be negligible (see pictures below).
It's not as graphic as a few of her other works (see Imadoki no Shishunki), instead much of the story is spent on dialogues and mix-ups between the characters, while you hope that eventually they'll get together. But the scenes that are included don't fail to impress- in a yaoi world of flying body fluids and tears and sweat, these scenes are so tender and intimate that anything more may actually spoil it. Well, almost. (^_^)
